Create a high-quality chimney with our stainless steel grade AISI 304 twin wall flue.
The inox twin wall flue pipes offered by Balkanenergy are made by butt welding steel sheets using laser and end with a male and a female joint. For insulation ceramic fibers with density 92kg/m3 are used. The joints of the twin wall flue pipes are extremely precise which eliminates the need of clamps or silicon gaskets. The operating temperature of our stainless steel AISI 304 twin wall flue pipes is 400°C, and the maximum temperature they can withstand is 1000°C. Laser welded twin wall flue pipes are made in accordance with European and international standards and are used for removing exhaust, chemical and oxidizing gases from boilers and stoves that operate using oil, gas, solid fuel and biomass.
Twin wall flue pipes are a good alternative to a masonry chimney. They are most frequently used as an external chimney in a heating system or when the chimney needs to pass through flammable materials and the insulation is mandatory. According to the placement that the elements have in a chimney, our stainless steel twin wall flue pipes are divided into:
Straight twin wall flue – straight twin wall flue pipes have thick insulation and are used to build the vertical part of a chimney. Standard length of the straight twin wall flue pipes is 100cm but we also offer twin wall flue pipes with a length of 50cm as well as telescopic twin wall flue pipes. When calculating the total length (or height) of your chimney, 6cm need to be removed from the sum because of the joints between the elements. For more precise heating systems we also offer straight twin wall flue pipes with built-in thermometer and revision opening.
Twin wall flue elbow – twin wall flue elbows have thick insulation and are used to change the direction of the chimney. According to their angle the elbows are divided in: 90° elbow and 45° elbow. It is recommended not to use more than 3 elbows in one heating system because they will hinder the removal of the flue gases.
Twin wall flue tee – twin wall flue tees have thick insulation and is used when building any external chimney. Each tee has a cap with an opening for draining condensation. The condensation cap is removable, giving you easy access for cleaning your flue. According to the angle at which the flue pipes are connected to the tee, they are separated in two types: T-shaped tee and Y-shaped tee.
